Mae leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Mae’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Mae will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Alvarino Fortes (Levi); her parents, Louis Barboza and Emily Barboza (Santos); her daughter Mary Fortes; and her sisters, Marie Rose and Margaret Pina.
She is survived by: her daughter Elizabeth Sollecito (Joseph) of Taunton; and her granddaughter Alexandria Roberts (Matthew) of Walpole.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Silva Funeral Home (80 Broadway, Taunton, MA 02780). A Mass was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Andrew the Apostle Church (19 Kilmer Ave, Taunton, MA 02780).
