Margaret A. Martin Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 21, 2025, Margaret A. Martin of Taunton, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Martin; her parents, John Monteiro and Virginia Monteiro (Rezendes); her son David P. Martin; her siblings, John Monteiro, Robert Monteiro and Patricia Diaz; and her son-in-law Raymond Upperman.
She is survived by: her children, Virginia McCrohan of Taunton, Elaine Baptista (Dan Querido), Cynthia St. Pierre (Doug Rogers) of Swansea, Pamela Upperman of Plymouth, Frank D. Martin (Christine Alves) of Fall River, Paula Martin (Gary Taylor) and Valerie Rebell (Jason) of Plymouth; her grandchildren, Tammy Martin, Ronald Martin, Ronald St. Pierre, Michael St. Pierre, David St. Pierre, Gary Martin, Stephanie Holland, Tiffanie Kaiwi and Chace Rebell; her great grandchildren, Isabell, Ronald, Michael, Brady, Cameron, Masyn, Mia, Aidan, Dylan, Addyson, Skylar and Lilly; and her sister-in-law Emily Monteiro (Betty Gauthier). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hathaway Community Home For Funerals (900 Buffinton St, Somerset, MA 02726). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the HATHAWAY COMMUNITY HOME FOR FUNERALS (900 Buffinton St, Somerset, MA 02726). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick Church (306 South St, Somerset, MA 02726). A burial was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at the St. Patrick Cemetery (3340 County St, Somerset, MA 02726).
