Marie E. Sousa Obituary

We announce the death of Marie E. Sousa of Taunton, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 23, 2026, at the age of 83. Marie will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph C. Chamberlain and Mayor of Taunton; her husband Ronald A. Sousa; her children, Russell Sousa and Catherine Mabrouke; and her siblings, Evelyn Cabral, Jeannine Phillings, Marguerite Fielding, Patricia Harrison and Matthew Chamberlain.

She is survived by: her children, Robin Miller (Allan), Cheryl Flint, Darcy Brownell and David Sousa; and her brother Joseph "Charlie" Chamberlain Jr. (Claire). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
