She was predeceased by: her husband David Medeiros Mello; her parents, Vasco Teixeira and Maria Teixeira (DaRosario Amaral); her grandson Jonathan Carmo; and her siblings, John Vasco Teixeira and Adelino Teixeira.
She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa Mello of Taunton and Linda Mello Carmo of Taunton; and her grandsons, Christopher and Timothy Carmo.
