It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maureen P. Powers of Taunton, Massachusetts, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 29, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Anthony "Butch" Powers; her parents, Eugene Doherty and Anne Doherty (McLaughlin); her child Thomas A. Powers; and her siblings, Ann O'Malley, John "Joe" Doherty, Kathleen Kelley and Paul Doherty.
She is survived by: her children, John C. Powers (Kelly) of Easton and Dorothy Cottam (Paul) of Easton; her brothers, Eugene Doherty (Pat) of Zephyrhills, FL. and Peter Doherty (Joan) of East Falmouth; her sister-in-law Catherine Doherty of East Bridgewater; her grandchildren, Thomas, Kyle, Erin Cottam, Sean Powers, Amanda (Perry) and George Cowan; and her great grandchildren, Anthony and Luke.
