He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert J. Dion and Alice Dion (Vaillancourt); and his brother Michael Dion. He is survived by : his wife Joan G. Dion (Ryan); his sons, Dr. Joshua D. Dion (Amy) and Robert L. Dion, Jr. (Julie); his siblings, Scott Dion (Maureen), Eric Dion (Ruth) and Cheryl White; and his grandchildren, Robert L. Dion, III, Nicholas Dion, Sophia Dion and Preston Dion. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, cousins and other extended family.
