He was predeceased by: his parents, William M. Shoemaker and Clementine Shoemaker (Dioguardi); and his siblings, John R. Shoemaker and Marjorie A. Shoemaker. He is survived by: his sons, Matthew R. Shoemaker of Everett, Erik S. Shoemaker of Chelsea and Kurt R. Shoemaker of Chelsea; his girlfriend Margaret A. Corbett of Taunton; his brother William J. Shoemaker; and also Loretta J. Shoemaker of Chelsea. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carafa Family Funeral Home (389 Washington Ave, Chelsea, MA 02150). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
