It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra J. LaPlante of Taunton, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 30, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sandra J. LaPlante to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Taunton Fireman Richard J. LaPlante; her parents, James DaCosta and Bertha M. DaCosta (Marshall); and her brothers, James DaCosta and Robert DaCosta.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael LaPlante of Newton and Jayson LaPlante (Sondra) of Taunton; her grandchildren, Shawna LaPlante of Saint Petersburg, Jake and Ryan LaPlante of Taunton; and her siblings-in-law, Judy DaCosta and George LaPlante. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 10:20 AM at the Holy Family Church (372 Middleboro Ave, East Taunton, MA 02780). A Mass will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Family Parish (372 Middleboro Ave, East Taunton, MA 02780). A burial will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at the Cedar Knoll Cemetery (175 Staples St, East Taunton, MA 02780).
