She was predeceased by: her parents, James Edward Briggs Sr. and Mariel Newton (Duford); and her brother James Briggs. She is survived by: her husband John O'Connell; her children, Edward Cripps V (Terri), Stephen Galvin, Jr., Rachel-Marie Quinton-Medeiros and Jessica Lee O'Connell; her grandchildren, -Leigh Medeiros of Alabama, Romeo Medeiros and Edward F. Cripps VI; and her siblings, Jeffrey Briggs, John Briggs, Jay Briggs (Melanie) and Susan Clavin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Silva Funeral Home (80 Broadway, Taunton, MA 02780). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
