We are sad to announce that on September 13, 2021, Sheldon Westgate Sr. of Taunton, Massachusetts, born in Boston, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Roland E. Westgate and Dorothy C. Westgate (Bouchard); and his sister Phyllis Richards. He is survived by : his wife Tina M. Westgate (Manoli); and his children, Deasanne James (Avery) of Connecticut, Michelle Melo (Manny) of Somerset, Tammy-Jeanne Marques of Taunton, Tasha Westgate of Taunton, Jessica Morse of Taunton, Christoper Morse (Christine) of Taunton, Lorraine Siembab (Gregory) of Taunton and Sheldon Westgate Jr. (Jenn Leon) of East Taunton. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Taunton Jr. Girls, Softball League, PO Box 2291 Taunton, MA 02780.

Richard Hellwege wrote a sympathy message

“My sincere condolences to the family of Sheldon Westgate Sr. I met Sheldon around 16 years ago, he was a great person to talk to. A very thoughtful man. I remember many times I would run into Sheldon & Tina at the store, and we would talk for at least half an hour. Sometimes to the frustration of Tina who wanted to check out. I wish I knew at the time, I would've attended the services. May he Rest in the Lord's Kingdom of Heaven! God bless you my friend.”
