It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Oliveira of Taunton, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 29, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose A. Rego Oliveira and Francelina Oliveira (DeSousa); his siblings, Armando Rego and Leanor Santos; and his wife Maria F. Oliveira (Freitas).
He is survived by: his sister Maria Medeiros of Toronto; and his children, Mary Kuczwski (David Sousa) of Taunton, Francine Laura of Attleboro, Carlos Oliveira of Taunton, Analia Oliveira of Florida, Carmen Johnson (David) of Taunton, Claudia Page of Taunton, Joseph F. Oliveira of Taunton, Luis Oliveira (Kelly) of Florida, Mario Oliveira of East Providence, Peter Oliveira of California, Walter Neto Oliveira Jr. of Middleboro and Victor Oliveira. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
