It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ranjan Banerjee of Templeton, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 5, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Upendra Nath and Bimala Banerjee (Chatterjee); and his siblings, Rabindra Nath Banerjee, Basudeb Banerjee and Lena Mukherjee.
He is survived by : his wife Nandita Banerjee (Chatterjee) of Templeton; his daughter Trina Abrahamse; his son-in-law Benjamin Abrahamse; his grandson Aakash Abrahamse; his siblings, Gautam Banerjee (Jayasri) of Kolkata, India and Bela Chakraborty of New Delhi, India; and his sister-in-law Bulbul Banerjee of Kolkata, India. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
