She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Niose and Giovannina Niose (Beninati); her husband Laurence J Slattery; her granddaughter Jillian Connelly; her siblings, Carmello, Domenic Niose, Angela Cain, Susan and Theresa Niose; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Niose and David Moore.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Johnston, Doreen Defina (Richard) and Darlene Connelly (James); her grandchildren, Jessica Remick (Stephen), Jimmy, Jared Connelly, Joseph Defina (Flori), Stephen Defina (Pei Qi), Nicole Johnston and Kelly Gaudreault (Mark); her great grandchildren, Andrew, Caroline Remick, Anthony Defina, Brayden, Aubree, Selena Johnston, Daniella and Robert Gaudreault; her siblings, Anthony Niose, John Niose (Frances), Joanne Moore and Elaine Johnson (David); and her close friend Peggy Thornton of Texas. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A reception will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Nardone Funeral Home (373 Main St, Watertown, MA 02472).
