As Meghan K. departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Meghan K. may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Meghan K. leaves behind.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Cyril McWeeney and Kathryn "Kara" McWeeney (Shaw) of Reading; her husband Joe M. Melo; her son Caleb J. Melo of Tewksbury; her brother Matthew C. McWeeney (Sydney Willwerth) of Melrose; her parents-in-law, Maria and Joseph Melo of Reading; and her siblings-in-law, Jessica and Ahmed Theeb of Haverhill. She was also cherished by aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Athanasius Church (300 Haverhill St, Reading, MA 01867). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
