He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Doherty and Helen Doherty (Hughes); and his siblings, Juline Wilson, Joan Miller, Jean Hiltz and Daniel "Buddy" Doherty.
He is survived by: his children, Michelle Francini (late Frank), Michael Doherty (Lisa), Noreen Doherty, Daniel Doherty (Tina), Mia Williams (Neville) and Richard "Ricky" Doherty; his grandchildren, Frank, Samantha, Michael, Mikey, Clifton, Steven, Alyssa, Brandon, Aaron, Kyle, Janelle, Bryce and Cameron; his great grandchildren, Jordan, Avery, Joe, Emery, Skylar and Genevieve; and his brother Ronnie Quigley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The military honors will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Tewksbury Cemetery (172 East St, Tewksbury, MA 01876).
