In the sacred silence of farewell, Richard is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Richard's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Hughes and Helen Hughes (Harris); and his siblings, Michael Hughes and Helen Norden. He is survived by: his wife Mary'Jan'Hughes of Tewksbury; his children, Jason Hughes (Julie) of Burlington and Jody Gay (Daniel) of Dracut; his grandchild Reilly Hughes; and his siblings, Hank Hughes (Flo) of Florida and Patty Melaragni (Jack) of New Hampshire. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Jason's House (81R Bedford St, Burlington, MA 01803).
