He was predeceased by: his parents, John Connelly and Eleanor Connelly (Conners); his siblings, Maureen, Brian, Brenda, Kathleen and Virginia Connelly; and his friends, Paul, Billy and Bobby.

He is survived by: his wife Pauline G. Connelly (Hearn); his children, Charles Connelly and Christine Driver (Richard) of Topsfield; his granddaughters, Elizabeth Driver of Wakefield and Melissa Driver of Topsfield; and his brother Paul Connelly (Karen Roche) of Beverly. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
