He is survived by: his wife Patricia Hess Houseknecht; his children, Robert Allen Houseknecht, Jr. (Johanna) of Syracuse, NY and Melissa Palmer Houseknecht (Scott Lucas) of Topsfield, MA.; his grandchildren, Adam Robert Kushner (Sarah) of Highland, CA and Kelly Maude Houseknecht (Quinn Bergman) of Niagara Falls, NY.; and his great grandchildren, Abigail Claire Kushner and Elijah Robert Kushner.
