It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William P. O'Brien of Topsfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 13, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Irish; his significant other Bobbie McDermott; and his siblings, Mary O'Brien of California, Jim O'Brien of Maine and John O'Brien of Florida.
He is survived by: his children, Erin O'Brien (Don Murphy) of Middleton, Molly Awiszus (Dan) of Topsfield and Barry O'Brien (Lisa) of Eliot; and his grandchildren, Emma, Terence, Peter, Annabella and Aidan. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, please honor Bill's lifetime legacy by being the friendly driver who happily lets others merge into traffic, giving a generous tip to someone who could use a little extra help, or consistently supporting meaningful charities.
