It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allan P. MacGilvray Sr. of Tyngsboro, Massachusetts, born in Medford, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 2, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Harold and Ruth; and his siblings, Harold MacGilvray, John MacGilvray, June DeRosa and Kenneth MacGilvray.

He is survived by : his wife Anna (Alteriso); his children, Allan P. MacGilvray Jr. of Lowell and Denise Fansel (Andrew) of Tyngsboro; his grandson Alex Fansel; and his siblings, Claire Maglio of Missouri, Robert MacGilvray of Tewksbury, Daniel MacGilvray (Diane) of Woburn, Steven MacGilvray, Christine of Maine and Ruth MacGilvray of Medford. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
