We bid farewell to John Karl Niermeyer of Tyngsboro, Massachusetts, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 2, 2025 at the age of 81. John Karl touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Earl and Kathleen Niermeyer (Mullen) of Framingham; his brother Earl W. Niermeyer; his parents-in-law, Earl E. and Vivian Ryan (Gray); and his siblings-in-law, John Matias, Earl E. Ryan, Kevin G. Ryan, John M. Wallace, Russell M. Saulnier, Molly Sue Ryan (Graves) and Margaret S. Ryan (Gardner).
He is survived by: his son Karl; his wife Kathleen Niermeyer (Ryan); his sons, Kurt Niermeyer (Kelly) of Holden, MA, Scott R. Niermeyer of Suffield, CT, Gregory E. Niermeyer of Lowell, MA and Matthew K. Niermeyer of Boston, MA; his grandsons, Brett and Jake Niermeyer of Holden, MA; his siblings, Lisa Carey (Peter) of Emerald Isle, NC, Ann M. Matias of Framingham, MA, Paul E. Niermeyer (Joan) of Holliston, MA and Mark Niermeyer (Suzanne) of Mystic, CT; and his siblings-in-law, Sheila Wallace (Ryan), Vivian Saulnier (Ryan), Charles D. Ryan and Jerome F. Ryan. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dolan Funeral Home (106 Middlesex St, North Chelmsford, MA 01863). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation in Karl's name may be made to the charity of one's choice.
