He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Thistle and Josephine Thistle (Carnaroli). He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Thistle (Giombetti); his daughters, Tracy Bodio (Robert Jr.), Aimie Burack (Josh) and Dr. Tara Brigham; his grandchildren, Ryan, Alexander, Isabella Bodio, Madison, Lauren, Justin Burack, Abigail, Catherine and Elizabeth Brigham; his sister Terri Horrigan; and his nieces and nephews, Kelly Heuer, Shawn Horrigan and Joe Horrigan.
