With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Francis Callinan Sr. (Uxbridge, Massachusetts), born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 2, 2025 at the age of 89. He was predeceased by: his wife Doreen B. Callinan (Bidelspach); his parents, James M. Callinan and Catherine T. Callinan (Sullivan); and his siblings, Martin Callinan and Patricia Boudreau.
He is survived by: his sons, John F. Callinan Jr. (Lynne) of Uxbridge, MA, James M. Callinan (Linda) of Tewksbury, MA, Joseph M. Callinan (Deborah) of Shelton, CT and Jerry S. Callinan (Claudia) of Haines City, FL.; his grandchildren, Alex, Joshua, Brian, Jack, Hannah, Carianne, Michael, Marykate, Sean and Elizabeth; and also, Eliza and Kasey.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Buma Funeral Home (101 N Main St, Uxbridge, MA 01569). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
