He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Rivard (Robinson); his children, Ann Davey (Thomas) of Minnesota, John Rivard (Mary Sheila) of Medway, Mary Rivard (David Frimodig) of Sunapee and Catherine Rivard of Uxbridge; his siblings, Roger Rivard (Avis) of Cumberland, Moe Rivard of Vermont, Pauline Houle (Gerard) of Auburndale, Suzanne Houle (Paul) of Lancaster and Rosemarie Wignall (Donald) of Rhode Island; his brother-in-law John Paul Robinson (Phyllis) of Pembroke; his grandchildren, Connor Davey, Andrew Davey, Patrick Rivard, Katrina Rivard, Chad Lamont and Abigail Lamont; and his great grandchildren, Lincoln, Leighton, Lumen and Lawson.
