He is survived by: his wife Darlene M. Matte (Perry); his children, Richard Matte (Karen) of Cumberland, RI, Lori Ann Sowell of Providence, RI and Tina Matte of Douglas; his former wife Constance Charron of Providence, RI; his stepsons, Charles E. Cleveland of Vermont and Chester R. "Sonny" Cleveland III (Amelia) of Pittsburgh, PA; his grandchildren, Samantha, Vanity, Amanda, Jay, Malcolm, Candace and Briana; and his adoptive daughter Angela Snay of Hopedale. He is also survived by 6 great- grandchildren.
