Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Sandra Bittenbender of Waban, Massachusetts, who passed away at the age of 81, on August 11, 2025. As we bid adieu to Sandra's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Sandra has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sara Bittenbender (Cram) and Robert Bittenbender. She is survived by: her daughter Constance Ferguson (Hedberg); her son-in-law Brian Ferguson; her grandchildren, Olivia and Jackson Ferguson; her brother Robert Bittenbender; and her sister-in-law Margaret Huber.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Parish of the Good Shepherd (1671 Beacon St, Waban, MA 02468). A burial will be held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at the Newton Cemetery (791 Walnut St, Newton, MA 02459).
In lieu of flowers, donations to Boston Children's Hospital or to the Episcopal Parish of the Good Shepherd, Waban.
