He is survived by: his parents, Ann Tan and Ramon Tan; his sister Elizabeth Tan; his aunt Bea Lassila; and his cousins, Kendrick See (Jeannie) of Reading, MA, Marlon Sison (Michael) of Jersey City, NJ and Joel See.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (8 Lafayette St, Wakefield, MA 01880). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ben's memory can be made to the Benjamin J. Tan Scholarship for the Performing Arts. Checks should be made payable to The Scholarship Foundation of Wakefield and mailed to P.O. Box 321, Wakefield, MA 01880.
