He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Flaherty and Mary Flaherty; and his siblings, Theresa Gillis, William Flaherty, James Flaherty and Francis Flaherty.
He is survived by: his wife Ann (Shea); his pet Holly; his daughters, Laura Hopkins (Patrick) of Old Bridge, NJ and Erin Maiolino (Peter) of Wakefield; his grandchildren, Emily, Madelyn, Tyler, Brayden, Luke and Lilah; his sister-in-law Mary Smith (Hank) of Topsfield; and his nieces and nephews, James Flaherty and Marion Devino. He is also survived by brothers, always giving his mom and older sister.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Robinson Funeral Home (809 Main St, Melrose, MA 02176). A Mass was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Most Blessed Sacrament Church (1155 Main St, Wakefield, MA 01880).
