It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harry Evans Jr. in Wakefield, Massachusetts, born in Flushing, New York, who passed away on April 25, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Evans (Webb) and Harry W. Evans Sr.; and his sister Janice. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Mentzer; his daughters, Merike Evans and Wende Brandt; his son-in-law Michael; his grandchildren, Tyler and Emily Brandt; and his pet Maisey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the William J. Leber Funeral Home (15 Furnace Rd, Chester, NJ 07930). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the same location.
