He is survived by: his spouse Jean F. Leary (Vacaro); his children, John Joseph Leary III (Allison), Jennifer Eve Hoxie (Jonathan) and Christopher Matthew Leary (Deborah); his grandchildren, Jenna, Alexa, Ashley and Amanda; and his siblings-in-law, Charles Burgess and Maureen Vacaro.
