He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Sanderson and Blanche Sanderson (Burke); his siblings, Emmett Sanderson, Dale Sanderson, Barbara O'Brien (Forest), Waneta MacDonald (Alex), Joan MacDonald (Arthur), Merle MacDonald, Vonda and Cynthia Sanderson; and his brother-in-law John (MacLeod).
He is survived by: his wife Theresa Sanderson (MacDonald); his children, Michael Sanderson and Charlene Sanderson; his siblings, Muriel Bungay, Dionna MacDonald, Brent Sanderson (Sylvia), Rhonda MacLeod, Garnett Sanderson, Blaine Sanderson and Lionel Sanderson; and his sister-in-law Sheila Sanderson.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home (19 Yale Ave, Wakefield, MA 01880). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the St. Joseph Church (173 Albion St, Wakefield, MA 01880).
