With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Lawrence Eckel of Walpole, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 23, 2026 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Eckel and Margaret Eckel (Steinkrauss); his sister Diane; and his brother-in-law Larry Rasky. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Eckel (Gardella); his grandchildren, Sutton and Coralie; and his siblings, Russell Eckel Jr. (Paula) of Holbrook, MA, Carolyn Rasky of Plymouth, MA, Robert (Cheryl) of South Yarmouth, MA and Richard (Cathy) of Sudbury, MA.. He is also survived by brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews.
