He is survived by : his wife Marjorie E. Kennedy (Barrett); and his siblings, Gerard Kennedy of Norwood, Timothy Kennedy of Norwood and Mary Ellen Torraco of Norwood. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

“I am very sorry to learn of Dennis' passing. Dennis was a long time colleague of mine at Bird & CertainTeed, who I considered a friend. He was very smart & hard working, and you could always count on Dennis to get the facts, or help solve a problem. He had a funny Irish temper that he occasionally would expose, but always under control. All who worked with Dennis have may fond memories of our time together, and he will be sorely missed.”
