He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick and Molly (O'Shea) of Mattapan; his siblings, Marion Gallivan of Dedham, James Gallivan (late Mary) of Dedham, Charles Gallivan (Maureen) of Dedham and Patricia Cronin (late John Cronin) of Dedham; and his sister-in-law Catherine Berlo (late Robert) of Quincy.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Gallivan (Harrington); his children, Mark (Nancy) of Walpole, Michael (Douglas Rice) of Atlanta, GA, Stephen of Naples, FL, Edward Jr. (Glynis) of Avondale, PA and Elizabeth Duggan (James) of Delray Beach, FL; and his grandchildren, Mark Jr., Alice, Suzanne, Anne, Kristina, Katherine and Victoria. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
