He was predeceased by: his parents, James J. Callanan and Ann P. Callanan (Culkin). He is survived by: his wife Carol M. Callanan (Ryan); his son Christopher J. Callanan (Tricia) of Newton; his granddaughter Julie M. Callanan; and his sisters, Audrey Carmel of Maine and Jane Lawless of Maine. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
