He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Abely and Helena Abely (Woodburn); his former wife Evelyn Abely (Walsh); his daughters, Ginny Stokinger and Alice Abely; and his siblings, Michael Abely, Paul Abely, Mary Butler, David Abely, Robert Abely and Richard Abely.
He is survived by: his sons, Steven (Denise), Jim, Stacey Brian, Chaleen and Chris (Dawn); his grandson Joe; his wife Ann Abely (McGovern); his children, Patricia Donovan of Framingham, Joseph Abely (Alesia) of Walpole, Tom Abely of Wrentham and Ted Abely (Linda) of Mendon; his grandchildren, Denise, William, Kaytee, Christy, Danny, Dallas, Joey, Sofia, Justin, Alexa, Kendall, Grace and Michael; his great grandchildren, Noah, Rory, Hunter, Declan and Charlotte; and his siblings, Nancy Ross of Norwood and John Abely of Guatamala. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home (48 Common St, Walpole, MA 02081).
