He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Rull and Sarah T. Rull (Lacey); his wife Beatrice Ann Beatty (Beatty); and his siblings, Mary A. Tinnell, Daniel J. Rull, John E. Rull, Cecelia Heiser, Edward T. Rull and Dorothea M. Hines.

He is survived by: his children, Joseph M. Rull of Foxborough, Thomas E. Rull (Margie) of Waltham, Stephen F. Rull (Renee) of Medfield, Mary E. Cassidy (Michael) of Walpole, Maura M. Barrows (Peter) of Walpole, John P. Rull of South Boston and Paula McAleer (Edward) of Attleboro; his grandchildren, Colleen, Andrea, Kelly, Stephen, Peter, Matthew, Michelle, Daniel, Julia, Erin, Shaun, Adam and Joseph; his great grandchildren, Caitlin, Timothy, Ryan, Molly, Emma, Norah, Lacey, Matthew, Emily, Nathan, Amber, Ashlyn, Ava and Cian; and his sisters, Helen Evans of Quincy and Frances M. Preston of Medford.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice, 800 West Cummings Park, Suite 3100, Woburn, MA 01801.
