It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie F. O'Donnell (Walpole, Massachusetts), born in Brookline, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 22, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, George W. Wright and Grace E. Wright (Cummings); her husband Joseph Michael O'Donnell; her siblings, George F. Wright, Robert A. Wright, Donald W. Wright, John Wright, Frederick Wright and Eileen F. Cardarett; and her close friend Dorothy "Dolly" Kearns (Bill Kearns).
She is survived by : her close friend Dorothy "Dolly" Rozon; her friend Bill Kearns; her close friends, Marie and Joe; her grandson David; her children, Marie, Susan M. Smith (David) of Walpole and David J. O'Donnell (Caroline) of Milton; her grandchildren, Bryan J. Smith of Taunton, Kevin K. Smith of Los Angeles, Madelyn A. Smith of Medford and Graham J. O'Donnell of Milton; her friend Judy Langmead of Walpole; and also O'Donnells. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Even during the pandemic, Marie wanted to show her family how important they were to her and how much she loved them, and while she could not host her regular Christmas Eve gathering, she still invited people to drive by to share in the Christmas cheer.
