Sophie T. Golden Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sophie T. Golden of Walpole, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 3, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Sophie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sophie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph R. Golden; her parents, Hallie Baker and Stella Baker (Kalnoski); her son Brian Golden; and her brother Edmund "Rabbi" Baker.
She is survived by: her son Joey Golden (Lynn); and her grandchildren, Kyle Rowean, Erika Golden and Jacob Golden. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home (1248 Washington St, Norwood, MA 02062). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Church (10 Diamond St, Walpole, MA 02081). A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at the Saint Francis Cemetery.
