With solemn reverence, we commemorate William Gillis of Walpole, Massachusetts, whose life came to an end on October 13, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, John Gillis, Stephen Gillis, Carol Ludwig and Margaret Danovich. He is survived by: his wife Mary L. Gillis (Speed); his children, Lisa Larsen (Peter) of Northboro, Dawn Fruci (Frank) of Norwood and Chrissy Crawford of North Attleboro; and his brother Albert Gillis (Donna) of Roslindale. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, in laws, and friends.

We were both teenagers--I was a stock girl and he worked in shipping. He was the nicest young man I had ever met with a gentle soul. I saw him again at my church fair several years ago.
