He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruno Hoffmann and Matilda Hoffmann; his daughter Tammy Nickerson (Hoffmann); and his siblings, Harvey, Marie and Bernice.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Durdle Hoffmann; his daughter Kimberly Hoffmann Arena (Michael Arena); his grandchildren, Kristina Arena (Renee), Cameron Arena, Kaitlin Rixon (Stephen) and Tyler Nickerson; his great grandchildren, Sophia, Connor Rixon, Ava and Daisy Arena; and his siblings, Hilda, Freida, Bernadine and Peter (Sandy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, all of his relatives and in-laws in Nova Scotia, other extended family, and dear friends.
