He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Tracy Catapano and Josue Fernandez; his son Julian Chiason; his wife Elizabeth; his sisters, Jessica Fernandez, Erika Fernandez and Mikayla Rippin; his aunts and uncles, Maria Fenandez, Madelyn Torres, Maggie Fernandez, Joan Catapano, David Fernandez and John Catapano; and his niece Jaylennie Ventura. He was also cherished by numerous cousins and friends.
