He was predeceased by: his parents, Sebastian Gargone and Catherine Gargone (Boghosian); his wife Beverly A. Gargone (Biddy); and his siblings, Edward A. Gargone, Catherine M. Hansberry, Carol A. Gargone and Linda A. Gargone.

He is survived by: his children, Charles T. Gargone, Jr. (Carolyn DiPaolo-Gargone) of Greenfield, Steven A. Gargone of Orange, Cheryl Gargone of Hudson and Marnie J. Kelly (Timothy) of Marlborough; his grandchildren, Brian C. Gargone, John E. Gargone, Nicholas S. Gargone (Tea), Gina M. O'Neil (Dillon), Elizabeth K. Murphy (Nate) and Crystal M. Gargone; his great grandchildren, Sebastian, Jeremy, Evelyn and Rosemary; and his sisters, Joan M. Mermelstein of Waltham and Carolyn A. Scarlett (John) of Waltham. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A wake will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Joyce Funeral Home (245 Main St, Waltham, MA 02453). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Mary's Church (133 School St, Waltham, MA 02452). A burial will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at the Mount Feake Cemetery (203 Prospect St, Waltham, MA 02453).
