She was predeceased by: her parents, James Buck Maxwell and Annie Ruffels. She is survived by: her husband Chrispin Johnson; her daughters, Zinabu Maxwell of Lowell, MA, Amyntrah Maxwell of Waltham and Rahffety Maxwell of Watertown; her grandchildren, Saikouna Kijera, Manyima Kijera and Amina Y. Maxwell; and her sisters, Louisa Dravie-Dixon, Marion Stanley of The Gambia and Lucy Bittaye of Kansas. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
