He is survived by: his wife Edith Morales; his children, Christian, Cristobal Batista of California, Mercedes and Joseph Batista of Brookline, MA.; and his grandchildren, Jadiel Quintana, Jaydith Bueso, Diamilet Bueso, Joriel Ortiz, Katishka Castro Ortiz, Angelishka Castro Ortiz, Jayden Castro Ortiz, Jesse Jimenez, Ariana Melendez, Eva Melendez and Xavier Batista.
