David Melanson Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of David Melanson of Waltham, Massachusetts is shared. David, born on November 7, 1942, passed away on June 5, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

David will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor David by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though David is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. David’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Melanson and Dorothy Melanson (Reynolds); and his wife Kathleen "Kelly" Russo (MacNeill). He is survived by: his stepdaughter April Russo; his grandson Blake Felton of Waltham; his nephew Kevin Smith (Judy Smith) of South Dakota; and his great-niece Dorothy Smith.
