He was predeceased by: his father Donald J. Berbine. He is survived by: his wife Esther Berbine; his children, Cindy, Mello (John) of Peabody, Edward Berbine, Jr. (Amy Berbine) of Sandwich, MA., Brian (Nicole Berbine) of Maynard, MA. and Jennifer Casey (Jon) of Waltham, MA.; and his sisters, Rosalie Thibeault, Darlene (Pat Sharkey) of Reading, MA. and Elaine Doherty of North Andover. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
