She was predeceased by: her parents, Santiago Cruz-Maldonado and Andrea Seda-Torres-Cruz; her close friend Sabino Aviles; and her daughter Elizabeth Santiago. She is survived by: her children, Violeta Bonilla, Louis A. Santiago, Barbara Santiago, Maria Ramos and David Santiago. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 4 great, great grandchildren.
