He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Moritz and Ila Moritz (Puryear); and his sister Joyce Wooten. He is survived by: his significant other Anne L. Moritz (Morrison); his children, Karen Brennen (Patrick) of Waltham, David Moritz (Doreen) of Waltham and John Moritz (Kathleen Egan) of Quincy; his grandchildren, Kristen Moritz, Joseph "Joey" Moritz, Amanda Tocci (Brennen), Ryan Brennen, Colleen Moritz, John Sabatino and Michael Sabatino; his great grandchildren, Olivia, Owen, Eleni, Nico and Tommy; and his brother DeWayne Moritz (Robin Moritz) of Virginia.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Brasco & Sons Memorial Funeral Home (773 Moody St, Waltham, MA 02453).
