He was predeceased by : his parents, John J. Dempsey and Helen E. Dempsey (Cheney); and also Kim Dempsey (Gorton). He is survived by : his brother John J. Dempsey of Empire, Michigan; and his nephews, Craig and Eric Dempsey. He is also survived by family members and friends.
